StepApp to Sports Day

This is an annual event organized for the Stepapp Foundation for children in underprivileged communities.

In 2011, the StepApp to Sports 2011 is scheduled to take place in Tarkwa to launch the new Goldfields stadium.

Mother & Child Centre and Community Library (2010)

These are projects handled by the team to provide the underprivileged in the Chorkor area with a mother & child centre and a community library.

A Day with Michael Essien (2010)

"A Day with Michael Essien" is an annual event that is held for the underprivileged community in Awutu Breku. The first event was organized by the team in November 2010. This was in the form of the sports activity; the launch of the children's reading books and commission of the community basic amenities – borehole water and place of convenience.

These projects aimed to provide the Awutu community with some basic amenities such as drinking water (borehole) and a place of convenience (toilet). This was commissioned in November 2011 together with the launch of the children reading books especially created by Michael Essien and the Chelsea Football Club.

Michael Essien Peace in Africa Charity Match A11 vs. W11 (2011)

As an AU Peace Ambassador, Michael Essien and the PurePersona team organized the Peace in Africa Charity Match A11 vs. W11 on 25 May 2011 at the Accra Sports Stadium to promote peace in Africa. The aim was to send a core message across Africa that instead of pick up arms and fight, use the medium of football, a useful option to creating unity in the Africa.

ME Foundation Fundraising (2011) – ME Custom Made Watches

Pure Persona had the opportunity to organize a press event for the unveiling and presentation of the Michael Essien custom made watch by Prince Albert of Monaco.

Mont Blanc Company in Monaco had designed a special Michael Essien Watch of which 50% of the sale proceeds of these fifteen watches will go to Michael Essien Foundation.
